BIMA WEAR x Nobody Denim

Bima Wear and clothing brand Nobody Denim co-produced a capsule collection that pairs Bima artist Tara Munkanome’s striking ‘Tunga’ print with Nobody’s classic denim designs. The collection features 7 beautiful pieces, brought together by Munkanome’s dynamic art practice spanning more than 30 years.
This collection was showcased as part of the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair 2025 capsule collection celebrating 20 years of Indigenous Fashion excellence.

National Indigenous Fashion Awards, August 2020

Textile design collaboration with pioneering Tiwi artist Bede Tungutalum for Bima Wear’s 50th Anniversary wins Bede the Special Recognition Award by the inaugural National Indigenous Fashion Awards.

Country to Couture, August 2019

Bima Wear participated in the Indigenous Fashion Projects' Country to Couture show with a collection created in collaboration with Tiwi fashion designer Clair Helen. The runway collection honored Bima Wear's 50th anniversary and blended traditional Tiwi designs, symbols, and environmental elements with contemporary high fashion and street wear styles.
