Mirningatinga
(Freshwater Turtle)

Freshwater turtle with the long neck lives in the billabongs. Family on the mainland eat that turtle. Tiwi mostly eat saltwater turtle. Some Tiwi eat freshwater turtle but only old people and not very often.
We see them on Melville Island.
