This is the story of the man who became the crocodile. He lived at Cape Fourcroy but he did not want to share it with other Tiwi. A big fight happened. Men chased and speared Yirrikipayi, before he crawled into the sea to become the crocodile. He still has the spear-heads along his spine. The bunch of spears he was carrying have become his long tail.
